Week 83 (La Libertad, Mexico) Bautismoooo

    Another great week here in La Libertad. Pday last week was pretty boring because the other Elders didn't play spikeball so we had nothing to do jaja. 

    This week for missionary work could have been a lot better but was still good. We only found 2 new people to teach but they are escogidos and one already is baptized jaja, gave out 21 BOMs, only had 9 lessons but 6 out of the 9 were with a member participating, we had 4 people go to church and one of them will be getting baptized the 12th of may! It wad a good week especially since my comp and I had our first baptism together.

     We found Matias last Monday and invited him to be baptized that same Friday and he accepted! He is a maquina jaja. Great kid. This week we might have another baptism so stay tuned jaja. 

    The open house of the temple ended last Saturday and we are finally starting to receive more references. Also now our ward is huge. Yesterday we had a total of 274 people go to church! It was crazy. So much work to do now, I love it. Also with our new area we have the temple now pretty cool. 

    I'm finally not sick again, hopefully I don't jinx myself saying that jaja. Been trying to not eat off the street and that has helped a lot. 

    Also I don't remember if I told you guys but we were living with other Elders for a month during the open house of the temple because 2 companionships of Hermanas were living there. But we are finally back and it feels great to be in our own house again jaja. Its crazy that it is already almost May. Que loco. 

    I feel like more things happen during the week but I can't remember, sorry guys. I am going to try and write in my journal more so I can remember things better. But I hope you all have an amazing week!

  Hola mis amigos!     This week was pretty crazy! Last pday we didn't really  do anything, but during the day I got a call from President Montejo. He told me a bunch of things, asked me some questions and at the end called me as a zone leader! I was not expecting that at all. He also said I couldn't tell anyone until we would normally find out who our companion is and where we are going.      I got transferred  back to Puebla in the Bosques Ward. My new companion is Elder Nelson, another Gringo. I also already knew him pretty well because he was in my district when I first got in the mission. He has 16 months in the mission. We are both zone leaders  here in the area and he also doesn't have much  time in the area, only like 6 weeks. So we will be learning the area together jaja.      Wednesday was my last day in Huamantla and was probably one of the hardest goodbyes I have ever had to do. They had a goodbye party for me! Week 47 (Huamantla, Tlaxcala, Mexico) Trabajo

  Hola!     This week was basically the same week as the last one, so I won't have a lot to wrote about. Pday was normal, but my comp wanted a haircut but they cut it really bad, which kinda made me laugh. Oops. We also were playing volleyball which has been really fun. Unfortunately, I squatted down a little too much and rip..., yeah, ripped my pants. A little embarrassing but I just covered myself with with someone's jacket and finished to game. A member also bought me a pair of pants so that was nice.     The week wasn't that bad, we are just having trouble with people coming to church, even members. Mainly because of the fair. We are going to work even harder, especially with the members help so we can get people progressing because we have a lot of people who can and who want to be baptized but its hard for them to get to church. Week 45/46 (Huamantla, Tlaxcala, Mexico) Sick again:( y La Feria

  Hola a todos      Sorry for not sending an email last week everyone, I got sick last Monday  and basically slept all pday lol. Nothing crazy has happened the last couple of weeks but were pretty good, not exactly how we wanted it to go though.     We were supposed to have like 3 baptisms the past couple of weeks but they didn't end up happening because one needs to get married still, which is a huge problem here in Huamantla and the other due to mental difficulties.      Other than not having baptisms missionary work overall was very good. In these past two weeks we found over 15 new people to teach, we had over 20 lessons, we gave out over 50 Books of Mormon, we contacted over 200 people, and we have over 10 people with a date to be baptized! The work is moving along really well but the hardest part is finding people that are actually married and want to go to church.      I believe it is officially the rainy season because it rains almost everyday.
