Week 62 (Bosques Puebla, Mexico) Spiritual Momentum

Image
Hola mis amigos!!     Another week that went so fast I can't believe it's already Monday jaja. The week was dope as well! Last Monday I honestly don't remember but it was good.     This week missionary work was really good. We saw so many miracles. We ended up finding 11 new people to teach, we had 23 lessons and out of that 23 we had 11 with a member, we had 6 people we are teaching go to church, we gave our 28 BoM, and we invited like over 15 people to be baptized, also we contacted like 50 something people! I am very excited for what has to come in the coming weeks!      I don't have a lot of time to write more but I just want to invite you all to listen/read a talk by President Nelson. He gave this talk last year in April and our Mission President invited us to watch it and take note on it before going to church and it helped me so much! So that is why I want to share it with all of you!  The Power of Spiritual Momentum https://www. churchofjesuschrist.org/study/

Hola mis amigos!     This week went by really fast and went really well! Last pday was good nothing crazy happened.     Missionary work went really well this week! We found 8 new people to teach, 4 people came to church(finally doing better with this!), 16 lessons with 9 of those lessons had a member, 28 BoM, 44 contacts, and a lot of miracles!     We were knocking doors one day and literally Sebastian was just waiting for us! We taught him and his kid and they both accepted to be baptized in the first contact! Then the next day we went bacj with them and found out he has another kid! The Dad only came to church but we are going to help them all get there!     We also did divisións this week with 2 jóvenes who are getting  ready for there mission! It went really well and we found some escogidos! They are both going to be really good missionaries!     Transfers also happened! We stayed the same, which I am happy about becayse we work well together and we haven't baptized together,

Week 60 (Bosques Puebla, Mexico) Intercambios con los Asistentes (Exchanges with Assistants to the Mission President)

Hola mis amigos!     This week went by so fast, its crazy! Last pday we didn't really do anything just a normal pday.     Missionary work was good but we are still having trouble with getting people to church. We found 11 new people to teach, we gave out 27 BoM, only contacted 37 people so our ratio from people contacted to books given out was so good, we taught 16 lessons, 5 of those were with a member, only 2 people came to church which was a big bummer but this week we are going to work even harder so we can start baptizing  again!     This week we also had exchanges with the assistants  to the President, Elder Lee and Elder Johnson! It was really dope. I learned so much with them and especially how to work better with the members which will help a lot. It was just 4 Americans  in one apartment so it was pretty fun to say the least jajaja.      Nothing to crazy happened last week but it was still a good week. This week we have transfers and we will find out Tuesday night if on

Week 59 (Bosques Puebla, Mexico) ¡Día de los muertos y mi cumpleaños! (Day of the Dead and my birthday!)

Hola mis amigos! Como están??     This week went well pretty much the same as last week. Last pday was really dope. We went to centro and looked at all the ofrendas for día de los muertos and had some fun touring you could call it jaja. I also went birthday shopping jaja.      Missionary work was good but definitely can be better. We found 8 new people to teach, gave out 29 BoM, 5 lessons with a member, 14 lessons in total, we only had 1 person go to church, 2 converts and 61 contacts. Right now our biggest concern is getting people to church. We invite everyone and a lot of people tell us that they are going to go but never show up. It will change this week though so that we can start to baptize again.      We also had another leadership council this week and went really well. The main focus was having more faith but not just faith, having faith in Jesus Christ. We also talked about how the new mission in Puebla is going to affect the mission.(Yeah, if you didn't hear, my missio

Week 57/58 (Bosques Puebla, Mexico) ¡Para Bautizar Conversos! (To Baptize Converts!)

Hola mis amigos      First of all sorry for not sending an email last week. I had to go to immigration and was there basically all day. It was not fun jaja. But the past 2 weeks have been pretty good. We have mainly been focusing on finding new people to teach.      These past 2 weeks we have found over 20 new people to teach, gave out over 45 BoM, like over 20 lessons, and a lot more but I'm not gonna lie I don't remember. We were able to put 2 people on date for baptism for the 12th of Noviembre!      The wat we found one of the people we put on date was a little weird. We were walking to la comida and a women stopped us and asked for help. Of course we helped her and what she said after was very sad. She said "right now I am holding my dead dog who just died of a heart attack. We were so shocked. We ended up giving her a BoM and inviting her to be baptized. She said she would think about it but 2 days after we went back to her house, we taught her a bit and then accep
