Week 40 (Huamantla, Tlaxcala, Mexico) "What do I need to do to be baptized?"

Holaaa     This week didn't go exactly how I wanted it to but was still a miracle filled week! Last pday we didn't do much. Just the usual, clean the house, talk with the fam and District Council.     For missionary work we did pretty good but we can always do better. We found 3 new people to teach, lent out 14 Books of Mormon, we only had 5 lessons, only because everyone kept on canceling and we had 7 people we are teaching show up to church! We only were able to invite one person to be baptized but this guy is gold. 2 weeks ago he showed up to church all on his own. The missionaries here before me haven't had contact with him since Febrero but we got into contact with him again because he showed up! It was crazy! During the same week, on Wednesday I believe, we got a call from him saying these exact words "What do I need to do to be baptized!" When he said that, I got so happy because we were having no that good of a day, jut that made it 10 times better. We i

Hola mis amigos     Another good week here in Huamantla. It was a pretty slow week though because I got a sinus infection so that slowed me down. I am better now so this week should be a lot better.     Despite being sick, missionary work wasn't that bad. We ended up lending out 12 Books of Mormon, found 8 new people, 4 people we are teaching went to church and we taught 12 lessons. Not terrible but being sick definitely didn't help. We got this one reference from a member who is her brother. He has been going to church for the past couple of weeks but he didn't live in Huamantla so we couldn't teach him. He ended up moving here and I am so glad he did because he is definitely one of the chosen ones lol. We have taught him a few lessons and he has a date to get baptized this Sunday the 25th and accepted and also did a fast for the very first time with his niece! It is so awesome to see him progress. One of the reasons why he did a fast was to ask for strength because

Holaaaa     This past week was pretty good but nothing too crazy happened. Another pday where we did nothing except the usual's  lol.      Also another good week for missionary work! We found 11 new people to teach, we lent out 28 Books of Mormon, contacted over 70 people, had 11 lessons, but only 2 people showed up to the church that we are teaching. During the week we lent a Book of Mormon to this guy sitting on a bench in the park. He said we could come to his house the next morning but what we did not know is that we were going to have a meeting the next morning. So we didn't get to go. The next day we were knocking doors and towards the end of the street we knocked this one door and it ended up being that guy! We ended up teaching the Plan of Salvation to him and his family! It was a really good lesson and they seemed very interested! Hopefully we can find them a way to go to church.     I think it was Thursday that we finally got to do some service! We were trying some

Hola!     A much better week here in Huamantla! Even though my comp was basically sick the whole week we still got some good work done. Last pday was another normal one, nothing crazy happened. Someone we are teaching took us out to breakfast so that was dope.     This week for missionary work we found 8 new people to teach, taught 14 lessons, lent out 20 Books of Mormon, we had 5 people come to church and 1 baptism!! Not a bad week at all, still feel like we can do even better because we did all that while my comp was sick. The baptism was for a 12 year old boy who was baptized when he was 8 but they didn't put all the stuff in right so his records got lost and didn't exist. Now they do lol.     We also had quite a bit of rain this last week which is always fun to deal with, except when you are trying to give out a Book of Mormon. Let me tell you it is very difficult to do that in the rain haha.     We had this one random lesson Saturday that was not planned at all. We were
