Week 23 (Los Alamos, Puebla, Mexico) Fast week that I don't remember

 ¡Qué onda mis amigos!


    This past week went by really fast but not a lot happened. For p-day we had to drop Elder Nebeker off at the oficinas because one Elder went home, so he had to take his place. Now it is just Elder Reyes and I in Alamos. We didn't do much after that, just played basketball, soccer and talked with our families. The trio was really fun and I am going to miss it but I know God has something special in store for us in Alamos.

    Tuesday we had a Multi Zone Conference but before that Elder Webster called us to talk about all of our numbers we have been getting the past couple of weeks. Then we also did some practices with him, which actually went really well and learned a lot. The conference went really well but was also a little boring but it's all good. After the conference we got to have dinner with some dope members and talked for a bit with them. This old couple is really cool. If we called them like an hour before a lesson to come and join us they wouldn't hesitate saying yes. It definitely helps to have members that actually want to be a part of lessons.

    This week missionary work was a little bit slower than the past couple of weeks. We only found 2 new people to teach, but we did give out 17 Books of Mormon and put 3 more people on date for baptism! Oh, we also taught 17 lessons! So I guess it wasn't too slow but a lot slower than before. 

    I believe it was Friday we had companion exchanges. Elder Reyes went with Elder Alvarez and Elder Trevino came to my area with me. I don't know why but every time we have companion exchanges all of our lessons always get canceled. Also Elder Trevino loves to talk in English, which usually wouldn't be a problem but it didn't help my Spanish. Other than that the day was pretty good.

    Something really weird that happened on Saturday was that a drunk guy almost assaulted me. We were outside a members' tienda just talking and all of a sudden a drunk old guy comes up to us and just starts talking gibberish. He also kept on trying to touch my arm in a weird way. So yeah that was a little weird and gross.

    This past night was not fun. I got sick again, throwing up 2 times and accidently falling asleep on the bathroom floor. I really don't know what made me throw up because the food I ate was stuff I had eaten before. It could have just gone bad or spoiled, I don't know. Yeah so in just 5 months I have already puked 2 times, not fun at all.

    Yeah so that was my week, not very much happened and sorry mama but I didn't take any pictures. Oops. I will try and take some this week. I hope you all have a good week and thank you to all who have emailed, I will try and get back to you as fast as I can.

Week 93 (Atlixco, Mexico) Transfers

Hola mis amigos,     This week was good but also a little sad. Pday was a normal pday like always.     So as you can see by the title, I got transferred. I wasn't expecting it at all because I only have one more transfer left in my mission, so just a little odd but that's life. I spent Tuesday night and all of Wednesday saying bye to everyone. Jose, a really cool member, gifted my comp and I paintings he painted himself, pretty sick. The goodbyes were pretty hard but I'm used to it by now. But these goodbyes were a little harder because I had made some amazing relationships with a lot of the members.      Thursday I officially got transferred. We headed to the offices and I had to take a van with like 12 other missionaries because we all got sent pretty far away. Saying goodbye to Elder Young was hard as well, one of my favorite comps. Week 83 (La Libertad, Mexico) Bautismoooo

  Hola mis amigos     Another great week here in La Libertad. Pday last week was pretty boring because the other Elders didn't play spikeball so we had nothing to do jaja.      This week for missionary work could have been a lot better but was still good. We only found 2 new people to teach but they are escogidos and one already is baptized jaja, gave out 21 BOMs, only had 9 lessons but 6 out of the 9 were with a member participating, we had 4 people go to church and one of them will be getting baptized the 12th of may! It wad a good week especially since my comp and I had our first baptism together.      We found Matias last Monday and invited him to be baptized that same Friday and he accepted! He is a maquina jaja. Great kid. This week we might have another baptism so stay tuned jaja.      The open house of the temple ended last Saturday and we are finally starting to receive more references. Also now our ward is huge. Week 91/92 (La Libertad, Mexico) Bautismooooo, y ¿Pueba Sur?

  Hola mis amigos,     I think I forgot to write again last week, but I honestly don't remember because the weeks go by so fast. I honestly don't remember really anything from 2 weeks ago so I will just talk about this past week jaja.      It was a pretty good week here in La Libertad 2. We only found 1 new person to teach but she has potential, we taught around 8 lessons, contacted around 50 people, gave out 20 BOMs, 1 person we are teaching came to church, well technically 2 but he got baptized yesterday! Overall it was a pretty good week.      The baptism was really really good actually. We found Erick by contacting him in front of his house, giving him a Book of Mormon and setting an appointment to come back and talk about the BOM. 4 weeks later he was baptized!
