Week 29 (Los Alamos, Puebla, Mexico) ¡Feliz Pascua! (Happy Easter!)

 ¡Hola a todos!


    Like most of the weeks I have had, this one wasn't as good. I did have a good pday last week though. We went to this place called Parque Puebla, basically just a huge mall lol. We played bowling, ate Burger King and got Dairy Queen! It was a lot of fun and I forgot how much I missed Dairy Queen.

    This week was pretty hard for missionary work. No one was home and everyone kept canceling our citas, it was quite annoying. It was because this week was Easter and even though Easter is about Jesus Christ, no one wanted to talk about it. We are supposed to have a baptism this Sunday so yesterday we had the baptismal interview for her and she is ready!

    I also got sick Friday, Saturday and Sunday which was not fun at all. I got so sick my body wouldn't let me get out of bed Saturday because every time I tried I almost fainted. So I ended up staying in bed until like 12. It was fine though because I didn't sleep at all the night before. So now I am taking 4 things of medications. Also yesterday something very interesting happened. We went to a member's house to eat and I found out that one of them knows how to do Chinese Medicine. Basically if you have seen Karate Kid that is basically what he did to me lol. It actually helped but was a very weird experience to say the least. 

    It is also the rainy season so Saturday it poured on us so that was fun. So from now on we will probably have a chance of getting rained on everyday.

    I really can't remember what happened this week so I will stop here lol. I hope everyone has a good week and that everyone had a good Easter!

Week 93 (Atlixco, Mexico) Transfers

Hola mis amigos,     This week was good but also a little sad. Pday was a normal pday like always.     So as you can see by the title, I got transferred. I wasn't expecting it at all because I only have one more transfer left in my mission, so just a little odd but that's life. I spent Tuesday night and all of Wednesday saying bye to everyone. Jose, a really cool member, gifted my comp and I paintings he painted himself, pretty sick. The goodbyes were pretty hard but I'm used to it by now. But these goodbyes were a little harder because I had made some amazing relationships with a lot of the members.      Thursday I officially got transferred. We headed to the offices and I had to take a van with like 12 other missionaries because we all got sent pretty far away. Saying goodbye to Elder Young was hard as well, one of my favorite comps. Week 83 (La Libertad, Mexico) Bautismoooo

  Hola mis amigos     Another great week here in La Libertad. Pday last week was pretty boring because the other Elders didn't play spikeball so we had nothing to do jaja.      This week for missionary work could have been a lot better but was still good. We only found 2 new people to teach but they are escogidos and one already is baptized jaja, gave out 21 BOMs, only had 9 lessons but 6 out of the 9 were with a member participating, we had 4 people go to church and one of them will be getting baptized the 12th of may! It wad a good week especially since my comp and I had our first baptism together.      We found Matias last Monday and invited him to be baptized that same Friday and he accepted! He is a maquina jaja. Great kid. This week we might have another baptism so stay tuned jaja.      The open house of the temple ended last Saturday and we are finally starting to receive more references. Also now our ward is huge. Week 91/92 (La Libertad, Mexico) Bautismooooo, y ¿Pueba Sur?

  Hola mis amigos,     I think I forgot to write again last week, but I honestly don't remember because the weeks go by so fast. I honestly don't remember really anything from 2 weeks ago so I will just talk about this past week jaja.      It was a pretty good week here in La Libertad 2. We only found 1 new person to teach but she has potential, we taught around 8 lessons, contacted around 50 people, gave out 20 BOMs, 1 person we are teaching came to church, well technically 2 but he got baptized yesterday! Overall it was a pretty good week.      The baptism was really really good actually. We found Erick by contacting him in front of his house, giving him a Book of Mormon and setting an appointment to come back and talk about the BOM. 4 weeks later he was baptized!
