Week 48 (Huamantla, Tlaxcala, Mexico) La Huamantlada

 Hola!

This week was honestly pretty bad, not gonna lie. Pday was pretty normal but we went to Tlaxcala to have a pday with other Elders and played volleyball. It was pretty dope. Then when we left we didn't get home until like 10:15 because of all the traffic because this day was the day no one sleeps, literally. People were on the streets all night just partying and getting drunk, it was wack. Don't worry, we made it back just fine just with a little pain in the rear end lol.

Missionary work was not good at all. No one wanted to listen to us, everyone was just in party mode all week. We didn't find a single new person to teach, we had no one go to church that we are teaching, we did have over 70 contacts and we gave out 12 Books of Mormon. I don't think I gotta say much about this week.

We were supposed to have a baptism but it didn't end up happening but we have faith it will happen this week.

Saturday was something that is called the Huamantlada. It is were everyone parties, all day and night, and during the day they block off the streets and let bulls loose hahaha. It is absolutamente crazy, we of course didn't go but we say videos of people jumping in the street and just getting wrecked by a bull. It is insane. I don't get why its allowed because some people have died in this crazy thing. Not gonna lie we didn't get to work at all that day just because of how crazy it was.

Surprisingly the week still went by fast, well we were trying really hard to get work done but nothin. It was a little discouraging but we are going to come back from it. We are going to work super hard this week. I am very motivated to get work done.

I believe that is all that happened, not really sure lol. I hope you all have a good week and sorry don't have much pictures.

Con mucho amor,
Elder Bailey
