Week 56 (Bosques Puebla, Mexico) Zone Leadering

    First full week here in Bosques and as a Zone Leader went really well! Still have a lot to learn and a lot to improve but I am definitely doing my best! Last pday was pretty good, nothing too crazy happened just did the normal pday things. After pday we had district council and since my district doesn't have a district leader my comp and I have to do the council. It went really well but the missionaries in our district as well as our zone have no animo (encouragement)! That's something we as zone leaders are working a lot on. We are trying to help our missionaries have more success and basically want to be here in the work and be on the grind.

    Missionary work was good but definitely can be a lot better. We just need to start working with the members a lot more here and then we will start seeing a lot more success. We found 13 new people to teach, we gave out like 16 BoM, we had 16 lessons, like 40 contacts only because we didn't have a lot of time to contact because Sunday all of the leaders in the mission got the asignación to give out 1,000 pamphlets this week. So because of that not a lot of time to actually give out BoM. We are working really hard this transfer to complete the standard of excellence, well not just us but to help the mission complete it!

    This week I also had my first leadership council and it went really well! I learned so much and still have so much to learn. It was really fun as well, and we got food after! Tacos durados!! Just a really good experience.

Week 93 (Atlixco, Mexico) Transfers

Hola mis amigos,     This week was good but also a little sad. Pday was a normal pday like always.     So as you can see by the title, I got transferred. I wasn't expecting it at all because I only have one more transfer left in my mission, so just a little odd but that's life. I spent Tuesday night and all of Wednesday saying bye to everyone. Jose, a really cool member, gifted my comp and I paintings he painted himself, pretty sick. The goodbyes were pretty hard but I'm used to it by now. But these goodbyes were a little harder because I had made some amazing relationships with a lot of the members.      Thursday I officially got transferred. We headed to the offices and I had to take a van with like 12 other missionaries because we all got sent pretty far away. Saying goodbye to Elder Young was hard as well, one of my favorite comps. Week 91/92 (La Libertad, Mexico) Bautismooooo, y ¿Pueba Sur?

  Hola mis amigos,     I think I forgot to write again last week, but I honestly don't remember because the weeks go by so fast. I honestly don't remember really anything from 2 weeks ago so I will just talk about this past week jaja.      It was a pretty good week here in La Libertad 2. We only found 1 new person to teach but she has potential, we taught around 8 lessons, contacted around 50 people, gave out 20 BOMs, 1 person we are teaching came to church, well technically 2 but he got baptized yesterday! Overall it was a pretty good week.      The baptism was really really good actually. We found Erick by contacting him in front of his house, giving him a Book of Mormon and setting an appointment to come back and talk about the BOM. 4 weeks later he was baptized! Week 83 (La Libertad, Mexico) Bautismoooo

  Hola mis amigos     Another great week here in La Libertad. Pday last week was pretty boring because the other Elders didn't play spikeball so we had nothing to do jaja.      This week for missionary work could have been a lot better but was still good. We only found 2 new people to teach but they are escogidos and one already is baptized jaja, gave out 21 BOMs, only had 9 lessons but 6 out of the 9 were with a member participating, we had 4 people go to church and one of them will be getting baptized the 12th of may! It wad a good week especially since my comp and I had our first baptism together.      We found Matias last Monday and invited him to be baptized that same Friday and he accepted! He is a maquina jaja. Great kid. This week we might have another baptism so stay tuned jaja.      The open house of the temple ended last Saturday and we are finally starting to receive more references. Also now our ward is huge.
