Week 55 (Puebla, Mexico) Cambios y líder de zona?!? (Big Changes/Videos included)

 Hola mis amigos!

This week was pretty crazy! Last pday we didn't really do anything, but during the day I got a call from President Montejo. He told me a bunch of things, asked me some questions and at the end called me as a zone leader! I was not expecting that at all. He also said I couldn't tell anyone until we would normally find out who our companion is and where we are going.

I got transferred back to Puebla in the Bosques Ward. My new companion is Elder Nelson, another Gringo. I also already knew him pretty well because he was in my district when I first got in the mission. He has 16 months in the mission. We are both zone leaders here in the area and he also doesn't have much time in the area, only like 6 weeks. So we will be learning the area together jaja.

Wednesday was my last day in Huamantla and was probably one of the hardest goodbyes I have ever had to do. They had a goodbye party for me! We had tacos and they also wanted me to stay one more transfer for my birthday but since that didn't happen it was basically a goodbye/birthday party. They sang to me and bought me a little cake and got my face covered in cake for the first time and got some gifts as well! It was such a special night. The Huamantla Branch will be in my heart forever. Definitivamente my favorite area so far in my mission. Not only did I have success but I gained the respect, trust, and love of the members and the people I taught!

Transfers were Thursday and I had to be at the bus station in Puebla at 8:30 am and it takes like an hour and a half to get there from Huamantla so I had to leave pretty early in the morning. I also starting feeling sick that morning so that was not fun at all. We got no work done because I was just dying and had to go to the bathroom so much. Luckily I didn't puke. But now its Monday and I feel a lot better.

Missionary work wasn't the best just because of transfers and getting sick but this week will be even better!

Por todos los miembros en Huamantla que lean este correo, les amo muchísimo y siempre estarán en mi corazón! Espero verlos pronto! (For all the members in Huamantla who read this email, I love you very much and you will always be in my heart! I hope to see you soon!)

Have an amazing week everyone! Keep grindin!

Con mucho amor,
Elder Bailey
