Elder Zach Bailey's Puebla Mexico Mission

  Hola mis amigos     Last week was pretty crazy. For pday we went to centro with 4 other Elders in our zone. I bought some ties and new pants because something funny and pretty embarrassing happened while we were there. I was going to buy pants anyways so I went to go try some on just to see but turns out that I ripped my pants without even knowing jaja. Who knows how long I was walking around like that jajaja. I didn't like the pants I tried on so we hurried to another store and bought some nice stretchy dress pants jaja. It was pretty funny not gonna lie.     We also had transfers last week. We got a call Wednesday morning from Presidente! He called both of us as trainers! Its my third time training and I forgot how much I love it. 12 out of the 14 missionaries that arrived are American so my chances of training an American were very high.   Hola mis amigos     Another good week here in La Libertad 2. Well kinda. We had a lot of success but literally no one was on the streets for some reason, it was weird but all good this week we will have a better week, even though transfers are this week and are going to be so crazy, we are still going to work jaja.     This week for missionary work was good but like I said, could have been better. We were only able to contact like 40 people, gave out 17 BOMs, found 6 new people to teach, taught 12 lessons and 6 of those with members and 2 of the people we are teaching came to church. Not bad, not bad.      We found a family of 5 who are all escogidos, weren't able to go to church last Sunday because they already had plans but they said they can come this coming Sunday. We have a lot of faith in Jesus Christ that they can be baptized in May.     We also had a mission wide conference which was pretty cool. Got to see a lot of old compani...

  Hola mis amigos     Another great week here in La Libertad. Pday last week was pretty boring because the other Elders didn't play spikeball so we had nothing to do jaja.      This week for missionary work could have been a lot better but was still good. We only found 2 new people to teach but they are escogidos and one already is baptized jaja, gave out 21 BOMs, only had 9 lessons but 6 out of the 9 were with a member participating, we had 4 people go to church and one of them will be getting baptized the 12th of may! It wad a good week especially since my comp and I had our first baptism together.      We found Matias last Monday and invited him to be baptized that same Friday and he accepted! He is a maquina jaja. Great kid. This week we might have another baptism so stay tuned jaja.      The open house of the temple ended last Saturday and we are finally starting to receive more references. Also now our ward is huge.   Hola mis amigos     As you can see I forgot to write again last week jaja. I will try and be better. We still play spikeball every pday for like 2-3 hours jaja. Never gets old.      Missionary work the past 2 weeks has been pretty good but I have also been sick so at the same time not so much. Over the past 2 weeks we have found over 12 new people to teach, taught over 30 lessons, also having members help us in the lessons, given out over 60 BOMs, contacted over 100 people, haven't had too much luck with people going to church but we are getting there.      The open house for the temple started as well and we have been talking as many people has we can so we can actually go but also to help in their conversion. We also had a special tour with Presidente and Hermana Montejo which was super cool. The spirit was so strong and the tour took over an hour jaja. Hola mis amigos,     I forgot to write again last week, but nothing too crazy happened that week anyway. Every pday we have been playing spikeball with some Elders in our zone and it is so fun, only bad part is that I get sunburnt almost everytime jaja.    Missionary work was a little difficult this week for la semana santa but we still got work done. We found 7 new people to teach, taught 17 lessons and 5 with a member participating, we gave out 34 BOMs, contacted around 56 people and only had 1 person go to church unfortunatley. It was a good week overall just gotta keep grindin.      Also the temple open house for the Puebla Temple started!     On Thursday we had a lesson with a family which went really well and towards the end the asked us something amazing. They had plans to go to the temple with the bishops family on Monday but they said they wanted to go as soon as possible, so they asked if we could take them the next day! So we plann...

  Hola mis amigos    This week went by crazy fast, probably one of the fastest weeks I have ever had on my mission. It was a really good week though. Last pday we played spikeball for like 2-3 hours, kinda a bad idea because I got a little sun burned. All good now though.      This week for missionary work was really good as well. We found 15 new people to teach, we had 23 lessons and 8 of those were with a member helping us, we contacted 51 people, gave out 33 BoMs, we had 4 people we are teaching go to church and we received 2 really good references from members. It was a really good week, we had a lot of success and we should be able to have 2 baptisms this week if all goes well.      On Saturday we were contacting in the park and we ran into some tourists that were visiting the Cuexcomate (it is the smallest volcano in the world) and the were from Germany and others from France.   Hola mis amigos     I am assuming many of you have heard what has happened the past couple of weeks. If you want to know the full story or if you don't know what happened and want to know you will have to wait till I get back from the mission to hear about it jaja, sorry. Just know that I am doing good, feel good and am working hard as always.     This week for missionary work was really good. We found 14 new people to teach, we had 10 lessons with a member participating, we taught 17 lessons, 3 of our friends went to church, we contacted 63 people and gave out 32 BoMs. It was a really good week. We don't have a baptism planned this week but we have a possibility to have one.      Also I got transferred, again. I am in an area that is called Cuexcomate. My new companion is Elder Pineda.
